Note – Anyone from Quebec who would like to take part in our regional competitions (DSQ), competitions recognized by Canada DanseSport (CDS) or the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF), must first register with DanseSport Québec. Please note that to take part in WDSF competitions, you must also have a WDSF card (How to get your WDSF card)

* If an individual would like to continue dancing outside of school and compete, they must become a regular member and pay the difference in membership fee.

Services Offered
- Recognition of your sport at the political level: DSQ is the only amateur dancesport organization recognized by the Ministries of Education as well as by SPORTSQUÉBEC.
- Permission to organize activities governed by DanseSport Québec: clinics, training camps for instructors and dance athletes.
- Permission to post job offers on the DanseSport Québec site: coach, instructor and facilitator.
- Benefits from the safety regulations approved Québec Sports Safety Board (QSSB).
- NCCP training and certification for coaches.
- Exposure of your organization on the DSQ site and a hyperlink to your organization’s website and on its various social media platforms.
- Promotion of your organization and its activities.
- Status and services offered to members of your organization (for competitive and recreational memberships click the following link: Members).
- Option of raising funds under the umbrella of the SPORTSQUÉBEC fund (charitable receipts for donations of $25 or more).
- Access to services for technical issues: organization of competitions.
- You can apply for the MEES Sports Events Support Program (PSES) grant. This funding program is designed to support the hosting of Canadian and international sports events in Québec (in conjunction with the plan for the development excellence by Québec sports federations) and to organize public events the general public.
